Ouest France: "Le Mime et l'étoile honored in Hollywood: "This award recognizes the creative audacity of the Puy du Fou"".

Another international trophy for the Puy du Fou. The prize for " Best live show in the world " was awarded to the Vendée theme park for Le mime et l'étoile, its latest creation, 2023.

Nicolas de Villiers, the company's Chairman, received the Thea Award, the equivalent of the Oscars in the film industry, in Hollywood on the occasion of the 30th ceremony organized by the Themed Entertainment Association. This international organization, with some 1,000 members including Universal and Walt Disney, is a benchmark in the world of entertainment.

" This award confirms our creative audacity. It confirms that we are responding to the aspirations of our time. The jury considered that we succeed in touching hearts and that our language is universal ", comments Nicolas de Villiers. He sees this as an asset " for Puy du Fou's credibility ", both with the public and in its projects abroad.

Playing at the Grand Parc since April 2023, Le mime et l'étoile pays homage to the silent films of the Belle Epoque, in a 2 km-long set rolled out like a travelling shot. The Puy du Fou has invested over 20 million euros in the project. The Thea Award is the second worldwide recognition for this show.
